Morning Now

Morning now, and with repose
Light seizes walls and leaves his eyes
Two laid down and one arose
Old man and Earth exchange goodbyes

Morning now, and through the dew
Youthful feet stir fields from slumber
In harmless chase the young lad flew
Of monarchs in their August number

Morning now, and gentle sighs
Pervade new lovers' company
Alongside one the other lies
The muss-haired girl says, "Stay with me."
