Do not despair: this does not apply to A Blogger, Idiot. In my spare time I've stockpiled several thousand original posts which will incrementally self-publish on a time-delay basis long after I'm gone.
My discovery of this quote, though, is timely - if for no other reason than I've been undergoing a brief period of nostalgic self-examination. We frequently grapple with competing desires: do we resolve to be at peace with our decisions, or preempt whatever outcome may be down the road in favor of the byproduct of our current state of mind?
